Where does my health information on the portal come from?

All of the information in the portal is from your hospital medical record. This ensures your access to the most accurate, up-to-date information available.

How do I enroll in the portal?

To enroll, complete the form and the short questionnaire. You must have your medical record number to complete the form. (If you do not have your medical record number, call Medical Records at 816-943-2119 for St. Joseph Medical Center or 816-655-5418 for St. Mary’s Medical Center.) You will need to provide your email address, and an invitation will be sent with instructions on setting up your account. Once completed, you will be asked to create your own username and password.

Can my family access my portal?

You may designate an authorized representative or a family member to access your portal by completing the Proxy Access Form, which you can get when you register or from Medical Records. To contact Medical Records, call 816-943-2119 at St. Joseph or 816-655-5418 at St. Mary’s.

Is my information safe?

Absolutely. You and your designated proxy are the only ones who can access your portal. A timeout feature also protects your information if you leave the portal page open.

When can I see my test results in MyCarondeletHealthKC?

Lab and Radiology results will be available 48 hours after your tests. This is to allow time for you and your provider to discuss the results before they are posted. Certain sensitive test results will not be available to view through the patient portal including tests indicating sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), HIV, Hepatitis, pregnancy and tumor markers.

What do I do if I can’t remember my password?

On the logon screen, click on “Forgot Password” located to the right of the Password field. The system will display the “Reset Password” screen for you to enter your Logon ID and email address. The system will check to ensure this information is accurate and will then send you an email with a temporary password. You will need to follow the instructions to create a new password and answer a security question.
